Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waitin' for me
My lover stands on golden sand
And watches the ships that go sailin'
Somewhere beyond the sea
She's there watchin' for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to her arms I'd go sailin'
It's far beyond the star
It's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be, beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailin'
***INSTRUMENTAL BREAK***
I know beyond a doubt,
My heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet, I know we'll meet
Beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be, beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailin'
(No more sailin')
(So long sailin')
(Byebye sailin')
Someone apparently told the cameraman and the sound mixer that the tambourine player was the star of the show.

The hardest part about watching 1960era "music videos" is enduring that fucking color distortion, jump-cut and snap zoom business. Some douche thought they were being so artistically deep, but from an archival standpoint we probably missed some really interesting detail about these musicians. I would like to kick them in their fring-jackeded asses.

Don't be so hard on "your generation". This stuff was "my generation" but it definitly was NOT "mainstream". I saw this very band in 69 when I was in 8th grade. Great concert. You have to hunt the fringe with an open mind and a taste for the bizzare. By the way "King Kong" is basicaly a "jam song". It's two chords plus a delightfully clever "head" plus modal soloing. With a little practiceeven two people with acoustic guitars can have fun with it. You don't even have to sing.
